Canoga Perkins Corporation is a privately held company located in Chatsworth, California. Canoga’s specialty is managed Ethernet products.
Canoga Perkins was one of the pioneers of Optical Ethernet, and their products have been in Tariffed Service over 20 years.

Canoga Perkins is TL9000 Certified. The TL9000 certification assures you, the customer, that their products are produced to the highest possible telecoms industry standards. The Canoga quality system is audited internally by internal audit teams and annually by the TL registering body. ESD protection is an integral part of the manufacturing process and to ensure complete safety from ESD, the entire Manufacturing facility floor is designed to be static dissipative. Additional efforts include an internal customer advocate group (LCA) that works directly with specific customers to ensure they are meeting their needs, and a Quality group operating at the staff level to ensure that TL9000 and Canoga Perkins internal standards are followed. To ensure accurate monitoring for continued improvement, Canoga Perkins has put specific procedures into operation:

President

Prior to joining Canoga Perkins, Mr. Champion held senior level management positions in several notable high tech companies. This included the position of Senior Management Consultant with Arthur D. Little, Inc., Executive Vice President at Magnetek Inc., Director of Marketing and Strategy at Teleflex, Inc. and Director level positions at GTE Communications Systems Division and Raytheon Company. In addition to his role as President of Canoga Perkins, Mr. Champion is also Group Vice President (Electronics) for Indel Inc. Indel Inc. is the management service company for a unique family of engineering and technology based companies that include Canoga Perkins as part of the Diversified Technology Group of Rowan Technologies. Mr. Champion holds an MBA with a specialty in International Business and Marketing from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, as well as an MS degree from the University of Natal, South Africa.

Malik Arshad
Vice President Engineering and Development
In his role as VP of Engineering and Product Development Malik Arshad is focused on driving Canoga Perkins’s Product Development Team and manages all engineering activities within Canoga Perkins. Malik is a veteran product developer with over 20 years of experience. He has led multidisciplinary teams in development and production of highspeed LAN communications systems. His experience includes positions at CommQuest Technologies (acquired by IBM), Xylan, Alcatel, and Extreme Networks. He was also a Co-Founder of Xceler Networks.
Malik holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the N.E.D. University of Engineering & Technology in Karachi, Pakistan, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin

James Heney
Director of Marketing
Jim has been involved in the communication industry for over 30 years and has a strong background in Private Line Central Office Operations, Network Design, System Engineering, Consulting, and Technical Marketing. Working for Carriers, Value Added Networks, and Equipment Manufacturers, he has specialized in Network Architectures and Protocols and has been involved with a variety of leading edge communications technologies ranging from satellite to undersea cable and telephone to high speed LAN and optical networking. As Head of Marketing for Canoga Perkins, Jim is now focused on expanding Canoga Perkins presence in the Service Provider market with the introduction of new products and technologies to meet the needs of Canoga Perkins’ customers.

Cynthia Lewis
Director of Accounting
Cindy brings Accounting and IT experience to her role at Canoga Perkins. Cindy is a CPA with over 20 years of Accounting and Auditing positions with other Communications Equipment Manufacturers. As part of “expanded” Controller duties at a growing company, she took on MIS Systems Administration. With both Accounting and MIS Experience, Cindy became a Systems Analyst, support a Major MRP/ERP Systems company’s services, specializing on Accounting functions and implementations. One of her focuses was consulting clients on business practices and processes.
